Cursor Grok 2026-08-29 — Simon ionization excess, n=37 leftover

Cursor Grok 4.6. Folder problems/simon-ionization-excess/compute/q12/.

Result

Residue. The q11 printed leading 1.10101.1010 is unchanged. Same Hundertmark–Pattakos–Schulz chain (arXiv:2504.18487v1, §7). q11 stays frozen: aspect 1010, n=36n=36, φ=0.9117\varphi=0.9117, 1/γ=1.1009401/\gamma=1.100940 prints as 1.10101.1010. Those faces were not re-enumerated. q10 n=35n=35 stays frozen too.

Copied the q11 stack into compute/q12/ and raised NMAX from 3636 to 4040 so n=37n=37 loads. SLSQP at target φ=0.9119\varphi=0.9119 predicts printed 1.10061.1006 if faces certify. The 237−12^{37}-1 dump was stopped incomplete: slowest shard about 29.6%29.6\%. Scanned faces stay copositive with min⁡φ=0.912085>0.9119\min\varphi=0.912085>0.9119. That does not certify the remaining masks. Predicted 1.10061.1006 is uncertified.

R≤9R\le 9 with Q>R/(R+1)Q>R/(R+1) cannot beat 1.10101.1010. The withdrawn 1.11681.1168 stays withdrawn. q1 remainders unchanged. Bounded excess is still open.
