refs/ is a snapshot of Hou–Zhao’s GitHub (8-kernel hash matches arXiv:2607.01169v2 Claim 4.1). certs/hz_kernels_L6.json is our L=6 certificate: same a, smaller b.

q1 (2026-08-27) re-optimizes the eight kernels as free histograms. q1/certs/joint_r8_L6.json has √(ab) = 0.94324253097 < 0.94325. Replay: cd compute/q1 && ./run_all.sh.

q2 starts from that mix, grows free histograms, then reshapes at m=48. q2/certs/r11_m48_L6.json has √(ab) = 0.943006169985179 < 0.94301. Replay: cd compute/q2 && ./run_all.sh.
